Dolphin interconnect manager

The Dolphin Interconnect Manager provides an easy tool for configuring and monitoring your Dolphin Express DX or SCI Cluster. Using the Dolphin Interconnect Manager, you can easily monitor and manage this automatic operation.

 The NodeManager and NetworkManager daemons and the  Admin GUI form the Dolphin Interconnect Manager. The three modules communicate via TCP/IP. The frontend running the Admin GUI and NetworkManager can be a sepearte machine or one of the machines in the cluster. Typically each node runs NodeManager locally. NetworkManager controls all the NodeManagers of one system. The  Admin is used to control the NetworkManager and graphically displays the information the NetworkManager holds.

The NodeManager is started on all nodes in the system, while there is only one instance of NetworkManager and Admin. To create a secure connection between the modules in an insecure network you should setup a ssh tunnel or VPN.
