The MXH912 Transparent Host and Target Adapter is our PCIe Gen 3.0 high performance cabled interface for I/O expansion applications.The MXH912 supports the old PCI-SIG iPass cabling standard.

The MXH912 PCIe Gen 3.0 card is designed to the PCI-SIG External Cabling Specification 2.0 utilizing iPass x8 connectors. The card is a plug in replacement for the PXH812 card.
By isolating the PCIe system system clock and generating a low jitter, high quality CFC or SSC PCIe Reference clock to downstream devices, the MXH912 offers users high signal quality and increased cable distances. The MXH912 support copper cables up to 5 meters at full PCI Express Gen3 speed when connected to another MXH912 card.
The MXH912 is ideal in applications such as test and measurement equipment, medical equipment, and storage subsystem seeking high performance and data quality.
The MXH912 card support both Host upstream and Target downstream operations as well as selection of SSC or CFC cable link clock. This is easily selected by DIP switches before installation.
